You might consider this option to have a "long-distance" reunion planning session/chat, when getting everyone together in the same place is too difficult ;-) Please check the schedule of upcoming all-alumni chats before planning a class-level get-together though... thanks!
Scheduled "Group Chat Sessions" are set for... To Be Published (they will also be included in our Events Calendar)
You can also view some of the fun from one of our past group chat sessions...
take a look at the Agenda posted at the bottom of this page.
We enjoyed ourselves, so consider joining-in for the next one!

If you've already used the SCS Alumni Chat Room, and want to skip the instructions / suggestions below, use the following link to jump directly to the...
Type in a chatname in the "Chat-Login" box below -- inside the small window toward the middle of this page, select your gender, and then click the "login" button. As a suggestion, we recommend a "chatname" like... "Tami77", where your SCS class year is part of the chatname -- we believe this will help everyone in the SCS Alumni chat room too.
After clicking the login button, the window (i.e., the Spinchat BOX) below -- containing the Chat-Login box -- will initiate a javascript to convert the window into a chat room -- no pop-ups or redirection will occur -- be patient, as this may take a little while for your computer system to completely load the script. This should work with recent versions of Internet Explorer and Mozilla's Firefox -- not sure about MAC though. NOTE: if you block javascripts, with your Internet browser or other software, the Spinchat script will not work. Instead of the chat room appearing after you click the login button, you will see an error message. If you see this error message, you will need to enable javascripts for this page. Bulldog's tested our javascript chat room, and believes it to be safe.
To end your chat session, click on the Logout button -- this button will be at the upper right hand corner of the chat window.
PLEASE NOTE: it is often better if you coordinate, in advance, with another user when you will be in the chat room. If not, you may be the only person in the room when you visit -- if you like chatting by yourself, then just drop in ;-)
Now that you're familiar with the helpful suggestions,
here's the Spinchat BOX Chat-Login window... enjoy:
After some fanfare and chit-chat, Bulldog kicked-off Group Chat #2 (21 July 2002).
There were a couple of chatters, and here's what we covered:
What do you think about our alumni Website and this Group Chat -- how often should we have these? -- Terry66 recommended having more of these to accommodate everyone.
What issue(s) would you like to address first... Website design, content (what's written and such), or photos available? -- no issues raised here... were pleased with the state and direction of the SCS Alumni Website.
Anything you'd like to see added, or removed, from our site? -- List names, e-mails, and contact information (sort of a "SCS Yellow Pages" feature at our site); informed the group that this information currently exists at our "virtual office," which is password-controlled. -- Create a "Teacher Section," with "then & now" information; this sounds great, but need volunteers... Terry66 agreed to investigate. -- Create a "standard" reunion questionaire that people can access on the website. HOWEVER, this needs to be class driven, and NOT Alumni Group managed; as a result of this chat session, a new "survey" and "reunion planning checklist" were added to this site.
Have you visited the new "History" and "Calendar" pages?
-- several had visited these pages.
Have you seen the new SCS photos (one from 1922!) and Class photos (1932, 1957, and 1973) that were recently added?
-- several had visited these pages.
Have you visited the "Today in History" page?
-- several had visited this page.
What do you think about an all-alumni newsletter (maybe called "The Bulldog Bulletin") that we would mail-out once a year?
-- although everyone was "in favor"; there were no new ideas discussed, or volunteers.
On July 16th, we accidentally "zeroed-out" the Guest Book. If you made an entry between June 1st and July 15th, it's no longer there... sorry. Please head back to the Guest Book so classmates and friends can find you.
Any other issues you'd like to discuss?
For those of you that are curious about the identity of "Bulldog," review all aspects and pages of the Alumni site... five clues are posted in different places. Enjoy the hunt.
